Bc300 I got my vintage Electra BC300 and it's is now the primary scanner for my feed. The low band receive is at least 4x better then the former scanner. This scanner came with an advertisment which reads the BC300 new in 1981 sold at retail for $549.95.

Alert Tones True but if it was set as your only priority you would have a good chance of not missing it. The 2-tone alert search would be nice too. More or less a novelty for me. I love the PL search and PL lockout that is a great feature.
