    It's live now - they moved most of their traffic to it Jan 1 2013. They still have some of their OPS channels because several departments bought Motorola equipment that's not cpmpatible with Kenwoods trunking. Thanks for the frquency info.

    I wondered about the same thing I know Butler County had to build out several towers. The one tower in Cowley County is in the southeast part of the county. One consultant had told Cowley County thry would have to build out 6+ towers due to terrain to achive good coverage with portables.
