I am 7.1 miles from the airport as the crow flies and hear most of the transmissions. Granted, I am on the water and it is line of sight pretty much. And I am using Yagis which helps.

Avelo here in Ct. uses simplex DMR on 468.8625 CC6. I found it by looking what they are using in other parts of the country, and gave it a try here. Willing to bet it is the same there. Give it a shot. But they use 5 watt portables, so you must be close by. Bob

The DOC talkgroups on the CLMRN system are the transport vans. I just heard the Milford court Marshalls "locking up" the building on their 465 mhz. freq. A normal 1700 event. Still in use. Low power simplex of course.

Worst case, you can send it to Whistler for repair. The flat rate is $120 and they turned my bad TRX-1 around in 9 days total, door to door. Works perfect now next to my other two TRX-1's. Bob

Just heard BASH 2 "in the red" on 233.525 and 341.8 I guess "in the red" is the same as in the clear?
