Caught 418.2375 N100 with a RID of 399996 AES ENC in my searches this past week. Sounds like a simplex since there is only one RiD and the signal doesnt look like it has a hangtime on it. The RiD is in no mans land, was wondering if anyone has seen that before?
I have been getting some encrypted hits on 413.825 N293 sporadically. I have a couple RiD's in the 58312XX range so it fits in the USCG range but I have nothing confirmed.
Well it's been a while since we have beat the dead horse so why not. There may not be an subscriber unit affiliated to any of the sites your are scanning that are on that TG. That TG may very well not be a fulltime patch within the TRBONet console, only on demand.
I can say 100% fact that Trbogeek information is correct and RR is wrong. Also if you look 500125 aligns perfect with the other BPD TG TrboNet Patches.
You take the radio to Saia Communications and pay the monthly access fee to affiliate the radio to the system. You should not be programming any radio to operate on a privately owned trunking system.
I'm in the opposite side of the state not within a tropo path. Don't think I have ever heard NYC above 10mhz before. Going off signal strength with no fading id say it's in the city of Buffalo.
Got a new UHF repeater here in Buffalo NY, 407.775 N482 which points towards USPS and a couple RID 812xxxx range which is a new listing for me. All encrypted with AES. Searched around a bit and didnt found much for it.
165.4875 N301 was a simplex frequency used by the check point booths to talk to the Office located above them. I can add it back in but it isnt very busy especially since they added a low power repeater for the warehouse and truck scanners.
They should save the tax payers ( oh that's right NYSTA is an "authority") money and do a DMR Tiii system. A quarter of the cost and for equal if not better performance and feature sets.
