I noticed the sds filters the encryption transmissions. I thought my configuration on the sds200 was the issue. Also I thought if the dispatcher turned it off that it would deactivate it on the mobiles as well since the radios can be accessed remotely.

I was young and stupid. But I learned my lesson. I could have transmitted on the old analog system all these years but I wouldn't do anything like that again.

I never had any illegal intentions. I just want to be able to listen not do anything to interfere with public safety radio. I learned my lesson when it comes to interference with radio transmissions that could harm others. I have no intention to break the law.

I think encryption is making the monitoring hobby becoming obsolete. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link and eventually someone will leak the codes sooner or later.

I would like to get on their system and hopefully able to listen to the scrambled transmissions
