Simulcast A site 1.4 (9A4) sometimes does not broadcast expected traffic on WCF Ops 32 or WCF Ops 33. There are times WCCCA official channel 3 and 4 feeds have traffic but not heard from this site. Has anyone else noticed this? Using SDS200 and SDRs same result.

SDS200 for feed#1102 only had Simulcast A site 9A4 programmed, and it stopped receiving around that time. Reprogrammed to the Cornelius Pass 9A5 site and so far scanning and audio heard on dispatch and ops 34.

Trunking systems work very differently, as the frequencies are not "assigned" that way. Unfortunately you will have a very difficult time listening on a conventional scanner. http://www.tech-faq.com/trunking.html

I should mention the RR terms of service prohibit broadcasting private businesses; Metro's VHF could fall under this category since they are the sole user on that freq. The TOS also prohibits broadcasting ambulance-to-hospital comms, which occur on additional talkgroups in the 800mhz system.

As far as I could tell all units on scene used Ops 34. Very few resources were involved in searching the building for the odor source as the occupants had already evacuated. They, along with medical group, communicated with C6 over 34.
