155.370 still being used in Florida?!?!

I know all too well those days are 99% long gone. Growing up in Upstate NY I listened to Onondaga Co. Fire Dispatch on 46.140 MHz and neighboring counties on adjacent frequencies. I can tell you Bote those were the best of days!!!!!!!!

155.370 still being used in Florida?!?!

Ok I sure will. I've heard about that one before. I found out that FDOT is using an old FHP VHF frequency to cross-band/simulcast on there VHF-Lo frequencies. It's 154.920 MHz!!!!!!

155.370 still being used in Florida?!?!

I had written off 155.370 as well as 155.340 but of the two I would expect to hear something on "340". Still nothing on "340" but I'm scanning them both. Very interesting that in a state that's primarily 800 MHz trunked you'd hear chatter. I know that some more rural counties are still on VHF...

155.370 still being used in Florida?!?!

I have 155.370 & 155.340 in the base radio hooked up to the outside antenna and heard some chatter on “370” this morning. I was surprised. Now being an upstate ny guy (Syracuse) I’m used to both frequencies. “370” is the statewide law enforcement mutual aid channel and also can be used as a...

Looking for assistance in programming the old Realistic COMP-100 (20-110)

I see the "Service Manual" all over the place which gives the formula in which to program a frequency, I'm looking for the "User Manual" that lists every frequency the scanner can do and what buttons to press. I used to have one when I owned the scanner way back in the early 90's and it's long...

Looking for assistance in programming the old Realistic COMP-100 (20-110)

The user manual gives a formula to program it. The programming manual actually gives each frequency and what buttons to press. RadioPics was my first go to and I believe they may have had that program where you type in a frequency and it gives you the button presses but it's not there now.

Looking for assistance in programming the old Realistic COMP-100 (20-110)

I took a look at the programming manual which I believe gives you a formula on how to do it. The programming manual actually gives each frequency and what buttons to press. I used to have one wayyyyyyy back in the day but it's long gone now.

Looking for assistance in programming the old Realistic COMP-100 (20-110)

Searched the Forums here and I'm not locating any good info. Picked up a COMP-100 a while back and looking to reprogram it. There used to be a website with a feature that allowed you to input a frequency and it would tell you what buttons to push on the COMP 100. Can't find it now. Does anyone...

    Orlando Speedworld Scanner Frequencies?!?!

I didn’t end up going today as I slept in but I will be going at some point soon. And Close Call is a good idea. I may use that. I’m a bit old fashioned and my method is to search blocks of frequencies about 15-20 mins at a time. So I’d start on VHF around business band to rule that out. Then...

    Orlando Speedworld Scanner Frequencies?!?!

Up in NY (Upstate) the Dirt Tracks and Drag Strips preferred VHF but it seems down here they prefer UHF. I will definitely report my findings.

    Orlando Speedworld Scanner Frequencies?!?!

My local dragstrip the Palm Beach International Raceway (formerly known as Moroso's) has closed for good so I'm forced to go elsewhere to fill my need for drag racing. Living in Port St. Lucie it looks like the next closest is Orlando Speedworld up in Bithlo. After extensive searching on google...

How many channels does my EX600XLS have?

Ok another question. Instead of starting a new thread for one question I’ll ask it here. On my Jedi series /\/\’s I set the concentric switch to be tone on/off as I program all my personalities with the tone on in case I encounter stray RF. I like however to have the ability to turn the receive...

How many channels does my EX600XLS have?

I just got around to bringing an EX600XLS online and a buddy of mine has one but only uses 16 channels on it. I intend to fill it up but before I make a channel plan how many channels does it have in it? The model # AAH38KDH9DU6AN tells me it’s 160 channels however my buddy mentioned the “XLS”...
