I would assume that the EDACS will be around for a while. I listen to both sides without a problem. Most communities can't afford to buy new radios but wait for hand me downs. Plus groups like DPW, and other non essential would be the last ones transition

Time will tell. Right now both Belton and Copperas Cove sites are running P25 but no traffic.

I figure that it will take time to finish up rolling this system out. I wonder how many vehicles and hand held radios we will see once things are 100 percent? Back 10 years or so the old EDACS system was pretty busy during the day and during weather events.

I notice that all three channels will show this Data group. I wonder if its a BSI ?

Right now I use Unitrunker but I also have DSD Plus Fastlane installed and also SDR Trunk. 2143700 is the one I see from last night until early this morning. The service shows as data.

I did log a good amount of data traffic from the Belton location but its not the trunk groups shown. I wonder if thise wireless power switches found on telephone poles are connected to the system?

Thanks for pointing the information out. I have a few single channel P25 systems and some regular Analog ones as well in the VHF hight band. So far DSD Plus is doing a great job of handling the traffic. Now tweeking the delay rates maybe needed.

In my area there are several counties that use single channel P25 radio systems. I would like to set up DSD Plus Fastlane to scan these single channel P25 frequencies. Is this possible?

I should have posted earlier. After I did the file update to DSD PL and installed the latest for DSD FL then UI worked great.

Lately I am hearing more traffic on the Lampassas location. Mainly Law enforcement but....Who is it? The trunk group numbers I hear are 7582 and 7583. They are not listed in the Database.

As of right now I still have not seen or heard any radio traffic on the Copperas Cove site.
