I caught a surveilance operation on the radio today some was encrpted but most were in the clear. I am wondering who this channel belongs to. It was on 170.350 with NAC 340. Needless to say it was very interesting listening to them this afternoon for a couple of hours.

I would suggest getting the radioshack Pro-106 digital scanner. You can find them on ebay pretty easy at a decent price. I bought a nice used one for my Mother last Christmas for $250 and I have a radioshack programming cable I used to upload my file into hers in about 10 seconds. Picks up...

I have only heard TG 2599 so far and as you stated it is the dispatch channel. I will post back here if I hear any other TG being used by them.

They have been using them as I have been listening to them on the TG for about a week and a half. Just added a missing TG today.

They went live on 9-30-2012 with the new Buckeye police dispatch center. New 180 foot tower as well. City of Maricopa police is now digital trunking.

Is there any antennas that might help pull in Phoenix signals from Gilbert? Seems like with all the towers they have you would be able to pick it up. Does that mean if a phoenix patrol officer came to gilbert he would not be able to hear or transmit on his radio? I am new at this so just trying...
