New Jersey Interoperability Communication System (NJICS)

If anyone is using a Uniden SDS model, make sure to update your firmware. The last release included an update to help with issues like this on P25 systems, as well as an issue from the last update that was causing trunking systems to cut out.

    Bloomfield NJ Help

Indicating that at that time they have subscribers (mobiles/portables/bases) currently affiliating to that site or system level permissions for the talkgroup to be available on both sites as APX said. But unless a knowledgeable person is willing (and legally able) to divulge which agencies have...

Thank you sir. I added 5mi to Walpack, Hunterdon, and Washington in Sentinel. Should do the trick.

New Jersey Interoperability Communication System (NJICS)

Estimated coverage in the DB only shows Walpack covering as far as Route 94. Guess there needs to be a submission to update coverage areas for sites. Needs to be accurate for GPS based scanning.

New Jersey Interoperability Communication System (NJICS)

A lot has changed in the time I've been outside New Jersey. Which site is currently doing the heavy lifting for 7B2-03 West on I-80 through Warren County to the Gap Sites? Database's estimations currently show both Hunterdon and Washington's coverage areas being just short. Thanks folks!

    Two Submissions in Limbo

Evening all, I have two submissions currently in limbo. One (submitted 1/17) was owned, and I replied to the admin's question, but it remains uncompleted. I've reached out to @Starcom21 in a PM, but still have heard nothing back. The other was submitted on the 14th and remains open, not...

My bad. Forgot to check the AU's. Any idea the intentions for it? Or is just essentially a bookmark?

WQTK398: City of New York 700MHz

Credit for noticing this actually goes to @Tank67. New/Renewed license for NYC in the 700MHz band effective 11/29/2023. Possible NYCIN expansion? https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/license.jsp?licKey=3564550 PS: If previously discussed, my apologies. I looked back but didn't find...

    DV-1 Mobile Mounting Solution

Evening all, Has anyone ever found a solution for mobile mounting a AR-DV-1? I'd really like to put it in a console in the truck, but obviously there's no conventional way to do that. Thanks all!

    Highway Patrol Low Band

Oh dude, the only thing in Greater Memphis that doesn't close during snow or ice is the auto body shops. They just laugh while counting the jackpot.

    Highway Patrol Low Band

I mean, it's a solid fallback. There's a reason California Highway Patrol is actually upgrading their Low Band instead of ditching it altogether.

    444.900, CTCSS 114.8 Bergen/Passaic area

If I recall correctly, when Tom went Silent Key in February of 2012, the repeater was basically abandoned in place. It was essentially a zombie cause the family really didn't have much knowledge about it. I didn't figure it was still on the air. The person to contact would be Mark, W2MR. Him and...

    Watch Duty Echo Rigs

Morning all, I've been watching some of the videos on the Watch Duty project's remote Echo rigs. I'm curious if anybody know what packages they may be running on the Pi's to stream the audio to Broadcastify and themselves. Not too familiar with the Linux/Pi side of things. Thanks all!
