I found a website for MDFR while I was visiting south Florida. While many are rather easy, does anyone know the apparatus codes on the active call viewer? Obviously E is for engine, L is for ladder, R is for rescue, but there are a couple I cannot decipher, like AB and F02 and M.

Under the firewall settings I see duplicate ScannerCast.exe, which I believe that there are 2 different ports, but it doesn't specifically what the port value is, instead it says "any port". I need to figure out what the second port number is, the first being 5700

Any idea how I go about opening these ports up? I wish computers were as easy to understand as scanners!

Thanks Rich, unfortunately your screen shot is very hard to see. Are you using Scannercast? Mine looks completely different than that. I thought the COM ports were on the software side but apparently each USB port on the back of my computer is different. I'm trying to figure out what the port...

Just set up a second feed, but when I try to start the broadcast I get an error message saying the port might be invalid. I can see on the first feed the port number is 5700. Do I have to manually change the port number? And what should it be?

Just got a good transmission with full signal strength, thank god I was getting nervous!

So the supplied RG cable actually screws into the transformer which is an F connector? Very interesting that will make my life easier, just get a BNC to F adaptor

Whats your location sir? I've had my scanner on all day and only picked up 1 transmission on my hit counter. I'm gonna send an email tomorrow to tbe communications director there and see if he knows anything.

Back to the ScannerCast portion…if you are able to provide 2 feeds, can you run them both through one running application. I know it has a dropdown box to select your feed, but can you select more than one at once?
