Re-read my post, I'm currently running 1.33. I deleted all punctuation and it did program. Not sure yet what punctuation was causing the issue. Thank you for the post and the link to other PPS.

I was running 1.40 but reverted to 1.33, trying to program with 4.0.30 won't work. Getting and error message. It will read it but wont program.

You are not alone, it's happened to mine several times. Very frustrating at 3:00am.

I’m using a G5. Used it for years and haven’t reprogrammed Co Co west since EBRICS started. I’ll check for a alert tone just in case. I have never programmed for a tone, we’re would it be. Dennis

Why do these two agencies have a very annoying tone at the beginning of each transmission and nobody else does? Dennis

I have a VXR-7000V that I would like to add a fire freq. to listen to but want to inhibit transmitting. Most software I've used has a receive only box or some other way to limit transmitting on a channel. Anyone now how to do this? Thanks, Dennis

Another reason they are hard to hear is that about a month ago I was able to read a bulletin from CalFire on programing of their radios and it clearly said that tac channels were to be programmed with no more than 10 watts. Explains a lot. Dennis

If you can hear Benicia, you should be able to hear all Central as Benicia is on Central as well. I would check to make sure your talk groups are all entered the way you want. I very often travel to American Canyon from Antioch and go thru Benicia and monitor the Central Cell on my SDS100 and...
