MDC1200 is only for VX820/920 series under that programming software (CE59). If you want to do MDC1200 you need the VME-100 add on board and the software (CE73) to program the VME-100. MDC1200 is not standard in that radio that's why it's grayed out. It's just for VX820 and VX920 series...
