Hello Matt, Yes the computer speed is most likely the problem, I work for a Motorola dealer and program the DSE radios a lot, I mean A LOT, they are MCS2000 and I use a very old laptop with a Motorola RIB box, you just can not use a fast computer on these radios. VK3HAU.

I remember back 6 months ago ESTA lost Comms with the Ambo's in Gippsland, All the Ambo's could hear each other and could hear ESTA but ESTA could not hear them , this happen for about 3 hrs and in the end ESTA called the jobs out via Mobile Phones... as far as I know the fault was never found!.
