The county wide dispatch, Blue 8 was normally going out on LARICS. There was no county wide dispatch on it yesterday when I was in Lancaster and Palmdale.

That’s great but, it is up to the radio companies on what and how long they want to support systems. They make more money on P25 and trunking than a no log systems. They are in the business to make money.

It will happen some day when their current systems can no longer be repaired and replacement parts are hard to find. That is the reason Kern County is going to a new system. They can’t find parts anymore, not even on eBay.

Truck 13 is a Pierce that LACoFD got win the took over for Vernon(?). Not sure what they have left in the reserve fleet for truck/quints. I heard they were going to Rosenbauer for new quints but that the order was canceled.
