I use a 996p2 to monitor the same system you are having issues with. Not sure if it would help but I can email you my BRP system file and let you try it.

Not to be a smarty pants but before you tear it down or send it off…what is your squelch set at. My scanner stopped working once and I started changing cable ends and antennas etc only to discvover someone tweaked my squelch all the way closed.

Mount the antenna on the roof with an nmo style mount. Can’t beat the performance.

Make one cell the way you want it and then right-click on it and hit "Copy". Select the next cell in the column, hold your shift key down and select the last one in that column and the column should all highlight, and then right click and hit "Paste".

I was about to suggest that. I experienced the same situation once upon a time and went so far as replacing antenna cable ends before i saw the problem.

Your signal must not be that marginal if simulcast is an issue. Simulcast issues means you are getting a strong enough signal from at least two different sources to cause conflict. It is cheap way to try and fix the problem, a directional antenna is another way. Just throwing some ideas out.

You can switch to a 50ohm dummy load antenna that will reduce the amount of signal you are receiving.
