Anyone have info on BK releasing any of their new portable radios? I see lots of advertising but no information on release.

That makes sense, but this is happening on a mobile. So when you activate scan via the touchscreen button and change the channel or power off the radio scan automatically stops. Would having scan as a menu option and programmable button be causing some kind of conflict?

What setting would prevent scan and/or priority scan from automatically starting when the radio is powered on? Scanning also stops upon changing the channel.

Is anyone else having the issue of MDC ID's not being displayed on the KNG 2? When MDC ID's are received from a Motorola radio they are displayed however when receiving an MDC from a BK radio the ID is not displaying. And i do have one of the display lines set for unit ID.

Will the programming cable and software be the same as what the KNG2 uses?

Yeah I’m looking forward to more info and curious to see how the software looks. If it’s like the KNG2 I think it’ll be a good radio.

I was until I reverted to a previous version and that fixed the problem.
