I would imagine it depends on your scanner and if it and the software supports tags. But yeah you just need to get a serial to USB cable to run it over.

Dude As soon as I read your reply I slapped my forehead. These are acting as com ports. Of course you have to unplug and put back in. Thanks dude! That instantly fixed it.

Ok so I rebooted scanner with PC off. I also realized previously I had not enabled it showing system so I turned that off as well. Either way it's working now. Thanks again for the help!

Yeah. I have PS both scanner and PC. Not sure what order is best in this scenario. I've shut the PC and scanner down. Then turned scanner back on and once it was on brought everything back up.
