I couldn't edit my reply. Forgot to mention the -f1 in my 1r.bat is for P25 only. You should not have the -f1 for motorola smartzone

What is the -a switch for in your fmp24cc file. Couldn't find that in the documentation. I dont use an offset or bandwidth switch. If you do not enter them the system will use defaults. My command lines are FMP24 -rc -i1 -o2001 -f853.7875 DSDPlus -r1 -T -E -f1 -i2001

If you have a working current version of FL you can simply make a copy of the entire DSDPlus folder and you will have a backup. My whole folder containing all of my DSDPlus is only 10mb

In your fmp24cc. bat file change the i to -i2 instead of -i1. You are probably showing 2 devices because when you ran zadig you installed the driver for rtl 0 and rtl1

It depends on your PC. Alot of new computers have only one jack for audio out and mic in. If this is your case you will need a 4 pin 1/8 inch audio jack to plug in. If your PC has 2 seperate jacks you should be able to right click on the speaker icon on the task bar and select recodring devices...

Thank you com501 for the reply. I looked and did not see where it references encryption. Please point me it the right direction. I see that it established the FCC so would the FCC be the agency that would charge someone for listening to encrypted signals or would it be the local law enforcement?

I understand that attempting to decode or listening to encrypted transmissions is illegal but I am unable to find the law or general statue that says it is illegal. In other words what would you be charged with by decoding encrypted signals what agency would be the one to file charges?
