I have the TRX-2 PC Software, on my surface book, running windows 11, it opens and works but is only about 10% of the size it should be. Does anyone have this issue and know how to increase the size? All the normal size things, like Ctrl-Scroll do nothing.

It sounds like you may have an issue with tones. But assuming you have the repeaters linked you could talk into one repeater while listening to another. Simply manually program the transmit frequency to the other repeater..

I am having difficulty figuring out how to hear a VHF Conventional Channel that has now been switched to "digital." Is there a setting that needs to indicate a digital channel? All I hear is modem like noise.

Am I correct that all you need to add to the list of frequencies are the control channels and not all the channels for the system? Also what about "alternate control channels?"
