this is the poth/floresville area repeater used by wilson county fire departments and commonly called fire net. the receive is 155.775 nac 293. 21 are poth fire units, 1200 series were the eagle creek area (now esd 2) unit numbers. i think 500 series were perhaps floresville.

howdy all, lcra transition is moving along. cibolo site is up and running while the seguin and hickory forest site are still not quite operational but due to be by end of October early November. currently, VFD's in the county are not yet using the system however will be once hickory forest site...

keep listening and watching donhark, as whole of Guadalupe County transitions to LCRA 700 TRS. Seguin, Sheriffs office, fire, EMS, road and bridge, fire marshal, pretty much everyone. new sites going up too, seguin, Southeast of Seguin and Cibolo.,over the next 60 days or so.

Sanscanman is correct on all the above. Look for LCRA usage to begin within the next few months and should be complete by July. Possible new sites in cibolo, SE of Seguin, and just North of Seguin as well.

howdy sorry its been awhile since i have been on here...anyway I think that this is an error as there is no oak hill vfd in wilson county...there is however a three oaks vfd however I have never heard them on that freq before.

yes SO is still kind of working the ins and outs of the nexedge system. more changes to that side of the county's system are in store. I forgot to mention that the 5 tac channels are narrow band analog and the New Berlin repeater is also narrow analog now as well.

Howdy folks, just wanted to drop a note to those who listen to Guadalupe County Fire. The system turn on is near for the new P25 system for the VFD's. The potential is there to turn to P25 by this weekend IF all goes well with tuning and testing. Some testing is ongoing now. A little refresher...
