    Juniata Co 46.060 PL?

Hello from Juniata County. 46.060 is in the consoles still but is not used for anything. All low band radios were removed from service when the UHF system went live 10+ years ago. There is no PL on it.

    union county pa

Well, if we are speaking frankly, many counties share tower sites on or near county lines to increase coverage for both. Has nothing to do with pagers going off but field user coverage.

    union county pa

Snyder and Union have a radio committee established to look in to and design a new system but the details of what they’re going to end up with are still in their infant stages.

    Junitia County

That's correct. Juniata and Snyder used Snyder F4

    Junitia County

Not console to console. Juniata has a base radio in the Shade Tower for Snyder channels linked in their console so they can change to whichever channel and speak to Snyder basically as a field user.

CH ID Table not matching radio

Nope. Only surrounding is VHF and a UHF TRS and there’s no UHF in the radio. Like I said it’s just the single system loaded in the radio. I was just trying to learn why the slots’ types and the last VHF didn’t match up. That’s all.

CH ID Table not matching radio

There is only a single system in the radio. I understand the system being FDMA and the radio using the proper slot. I was just confused why the system broadcasted something different than what the radio had. I’m aware that just because it has TDMA doesn’t mean it needs used. Thank you

    Channel ID not matching radio

Actually, no, not confused. I understand most 800 systems only use Slot 1 unless they're TDMA and they add another slot for TDMA base freq but the system in question is VHF and the system is showing Slot 5 as FDMA which has decoded properly in XTS radios. I was just thrown off the radio and...

    Channel ID not matching radio

Am I wrong for understanding that the tables transmitted from the system should match the radio? I understand like the first slot is usually that 800 FDMA one but anything else after that follows the frequency type of the system, IE VHF for slot 5…

    Channel ID not matching radio

Programming it with all FDMA or the way the system is transmitting both decode correctly which would lead me to suspect all the CC data is based off Slot 5

    snyder county pa

You don't rush a radio system just to get it online. It takes years of planning and preparation and getting grants acquired for agencies to purchase the new radios required to operate on the new system.

    snyder county pa

The county has a radio committee in place but a new system between Union and Snyder is a few years out from what I've been told.

    Channel ID not matching radio

Not disagreeing and from what I gathered there’s no plans of going Phase 2 any time soon but definitely won’t work TDMA with that setup.
