    CIAS 2023

Knock on wood, I have yet to have an issue with it. Once one of the CIAS staff wanted to verify it wasn't a transceiver. Did anyone else get a chance to capture the frequencies for the other acts?

    Mt. St.Patrick FleetNet Down

Repairs should be finished by the end of today.

    Mt. St.Patrick FleetNet Down

Some equipment was installed yesterday, Rigging should be happening today, looks like other equipment related to the tower is still being "sourced".

    CF Yorkdale

Strange, I was there yesterday and my scanner was quiet for an hour. No skips.

    CF Yorkdale

Anyone been around Yorkdale lately? I think either they are not using DMR anymore or have moved to an entirely different frequency, TAFL still states LMR-Analog, or perhaps a communications company set up a new system?

I also noticed this, but it seems to have gone away now.

    TETRA monitoring in Toronto

Only two that I know of on the market, AOR DV-1 and AOR DV-10. Neither of these are cheap, and support for them with TETRA has been shady at best.

    Toronto Phase II

Still both Phase I and II. Radio upgrades not complete yet. I do as well, but kind of defeats the purpose of upgrading to a radio that’s capable and not use it.

Toronto Transit Commission - PowerTrunk TETRA

What a waste, set it up for 3 years to get rid of it

TTC - TETRA other receiving options

Technically the AOR DV10 does, but it doesn’t trunk any digital format and has issues.

Toronto Transit Commission - PowerTrunk TETRA

Be prepared every so often to readjust the actual frequency where the TETRA signal is because it moves. I can tell you all the spots on Line 2, but I haven’t taken an entire ride on Line 1 to map where it all changes.

Toronto Transit Commission - PowerTrunk TETRA

It’s been awhile since I can get reliable signal enough to decode while on the train, maybe I need to redo my entire setup. It’s mostly just the Station desk, Janitorial desk and whichever event that goes on or delay related issues.
