    24 Hours of Daytona

This list may be of help to you and/or others attending the Rolex 24: in the main, the frequencies used by the teams tend to be quite stable year on year: IMSA Weathertech - The RadioReference Wiki The Euro teams freqs can be more dynamic and less predictable, this list may help for some of the...

How can I identify? Who recommends DSD+ for this?

That's one of the many Hytera Basic Privacy types, judging by the XPT and Enc Group Call info shown (...and not because it says Alg=BP: that's probably a false positive as it should only show this for Motorola BP). If you can record a sample of raw audio signal when there is some [encrypted]...

    TRX-2: Mototrbo reception issue.

Definately sounds like BP. It's possible the encrypted channel is security related ? If you enable the IF/Discriminator Output Mode of your TRX2 then make a short recording of the output audio/post it here that'd be the way to confirm it.

    What radio is this?

Re-reading the article, it's clear he also has a scanner mounted in his vehicle (assume the 2nd photo is that of his Uniden RH96 remote head)...."as he pointed to the device bolted to his car console." Building on @ErikSwan 's excellent point that the Luiton LT-316 wouldn't be able to listen to...

    TRX-2: Mototrbo reception issue.

I've never heard of voice invesrion (an analog scambling method) used on DMR. RAS wont affect the audio, and not in the way you describe. Basic Privacy or Enhanced Privacy are most common. From what's been described BP is most likely. The raw audio will reveal more.

    TRX-2: Mototrbo reception issue.

Post a recording here for the audio and we'll be able to better advise. Even better if you use the duscriminator i/f option on the trx to record raw audio. If it's moto basic privacy its relatively easy to recover.

    Only Tetra decoding without SDR?

TETRA will need a receiver that can cope with its 25khz RF bandwith, and provide a raw discriminator signal to feed something like OpenEar. I don't recall there being many options on the market to cover that....other than an SDR stick.

    Using a BC125AT with DSDPlus.

Have a read of this: https://www.discriminator.nl/index-en.html The tap provides unfiltered audio, necessary for good data decoding.

    Using a BC125AT with DSDPlus.

DSDPlus needs a discriminator tap to work with a scanner, it won't work with the unfiltered audio straight from the audio jack. If you know what you're doing and fancy taking the scanner apart, here's how to add a disc tap: https://www.discriminator.nl/ubc125xlt/index-en.html

    DSDPlus Unusual XPT Talkgroups

Thanks for the info guys. I expect this is a combination of bad decodes and some unusual handling of XPT talkgroups.

    DSDPlus Unusual XPT Talkgroups

Hi all, looking for some pointers on what might be going on here: I'm monitoring a busy XPT Trunked network, Talkgroups in use are 1-50. But I occassonally see 7 digit talkgroups appear, each one would seem to be in multiples of +1,048,576 from the 'real' TG in use. ie I'm seeing the same...

    BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Help with Discovery

So just to confirm @HandiScratchy when you scan a DMR channel or hold on it, do you get voice traffic ok? I think you're saying yes, and if so then the DMR key at least is working ok. Try a limit search. This time set a different (longer) Delay Time: -5 or -10 will auto forward the search after...

I also assumed that might be the case, and wasn't just a co-incidence.

Adcr25 nxdn with a known key

I hadn't noticed the P25 Key entry before. I can't test it, but it seems to accept an entry to it ok. For NXDN, connect the receiver, open the software. Click on the Decrypt button. There's an 8x8 matrix for NXDN key entry. Enter the key in Decimal format (1-32767) in the relevent KeyID...

Adcr25 nxdn with a known key

Hi Anthony. I don't recall ADCR25 advertising any P25 functionality beyond protocol decoding and trunk tracking. NXDN (4800 and 9600) descrambling with known key was added in FW5.8, MotoTRBO BP autodetect in FW5.9. I tested all of these and got them to work ok.

    ARC536: Build 2.5 Issues

@Butelsoftware Hi Gommert, any chance of looking at an issue introduced/ possibly reintroduced with Build 2.5: When programming a [NXDN] OFT system, it used to be the case that Sites would be listed alphanumerically, even when updates to Site contents were made. For a system with a lot of...
