Was listening yesterday and today. Mostly un-encrypted. Did notice a couple unit radios sounded like encryption was turned on. All dispatch was in the clear that I heard.

I'm hearing them in the clear on my G4, SDS 100, and Icom R-30. Early on when nosoup4u posted, it did appear they went encrypted. I turned on the G4 over the weekend and there they were.

They do work very well on small systems without much traffic. However, when larger systems are involved they aren't so great. As Bud said, they DO NOT track control channel data.

Bethlehem PD is in the clear. I just had PD Dispatch coming through loud and in the clear.

The first two frequencies are used for Northampton County Dispatch for the City of Easton. They are used frequently every day. The second is used less frequently, but is DMR.

These are my settings. No white noise, I'm scanning 5 systems total.

I use the white eneloops from Amazon. I charge them in an external charger. I get 48 hours out of them in my G1. I haven't used the G1 charger in years. Best I could ever get using that was about 24 hours. If things are busy, ie, many calls, it may cut down battery life to around 36 - 40 hours...

I lost my small battery and cover in the early days when Uniden Repair replaced my SDS100. That was a bummer...

The new beta firmware does have talk group hold and you can remove a talk group from the scan list.

Jordan, so far all seems to work well. It would be helpful to have an import .csv option on the Members List Setting though.
