Unitrunker will only decode Phase 1, not phase 2, dsdplus will decode either one

Its supposed to be closer to August for the cut over, the precut over is April or may but I think it got moved, the cutover looks like Salt Lake County will take 5 days utah County 4 and other counties 3 days or less

Some other programs other than sentinel doesn't filter the type and sometimes u can download the system that way . Doesn't mean it will configure correctly but if its faster than manually entering it in. Then maybe another option..

I think they are testing all the radio systems in the state cuz Ithey were testing on abajo SRS the other day , doing testing on carbon SO, and today doing radio testing on emery county SO 800 today

Ok @theaton u picking up the same? They may add neighbors to that site. Tim said that a couple of those p25 sites in grand county doesn't have neighbors yet

No not to a new system, they have several channels maybe a new talkgroup, as as for a new system I really doubt it. Not yet til the rest of the state does

Besides the uhf military 200 300 mhz they also use 400 mhz 800 trunked and the 148 mhz, they rotate between them all. National guard and CAP do alot of testing between different bands

I got a whole list from CB radio range all the way up to past 40mhz that I've picked up, it comes and goes, not so much activity here lately but I dont have it scanning it all the time either..

The system isn't active its just online, its in testing phase and has been pushed back til later in the year. Basically we are just identifying sites and frequencies an occasional talkgroup comes on ,mostly for testing nothing else yet...

Another option is the baofeng 2 way radio that can be programmed with vhf frequencies and can scan police and or amateur radio, some are dual band radios. This is another option it also can scan, using a special cord and a program called chirp

Only some of the units for carbon and emery have digital radios for nxdn the rest are patched in from vhf analog, depending on the sites u are closer to, if a unit affiliates with that site then u will hear it. Same with UCA on 800. U will hear different traffic on one site than u will another...

You will also hear Salt Lake County utah County both uhp and SO , plus Richfield and sanpete, sometimes even st George, Department of health and human services doing tests once a month ... if u keep the ID search on , u will hear anything that comes across including the UCA radio Tech guys.. and...

So price dispatch covers carbon emery grand and San juan , some of Wayne County on sr 24 by hanksville for UHP, lately they also have been dispatching for San juan county sheriff's office so the 1Z units are down there.. price is 2R County is 1R helper 3R east carbon Sunnyside is 4R and...

I'd also add Bruin on 800 and on the nxdn system as a site to scan, dispatch usually broadcasts on multiple channels and talkgroups, so it goes across ems fire uhp and carbon SO and Price PD etc, sometimes at the same time.. currently dispatch is only using TG 10801 on nxdn for ems and emery...
