Assuming you are using a Windows PC, search Microphone Privacy Settings in the Windows search bar. Turn off the microphone. I had this problem about 15 years ago so I don't really remember the exact solution but you can start there to see if it works.

Thank you but I ended up installing trunk recorder version 5.0 and i am glad i did. It has been fine tuned and probably uses a third of the resources of the Broadcastify image version. I was able to add more talkgroups and it got rid of of some annoying interference i was dealing with.

Incorrect. CAL FIRE (through contract) provides fire protection to 20 cities within Riverside county. They are the Riverside County Fire Department. Also, ranger unit was dropped by the dept 20 years ago. Behind the scenes, it is now called administrative unit.

I am trying to re-download the RPi image and I keep receiving this error. I am not sure if it is on my end or RR end.

It looks like the error could be that frequency that was used was outside of the range of the SDR. You might need another SDR to cover that frequency.

It’s not the only option. It just seems to be the easiest one. If you enjoy trying to figure things out then you may want to try SDRTrunk.

The easiest way to do this with a RPi may be to download the Broadcastify image located here. It uses trunk recorder and has almost everything you need already pre-installed. You will need to create a config.json file and a talkgroups.csv file (OpenMHz only). Examples are here on the examples...

What is LA County Fire resource "AP-11"

Currently, the Broadcastify Calls platform archives only go back 30 days. The Broadcastify live feeds platform archives go back 365 days but it doesn’t appear that there are any law enforcement feed providers for that county. I think you are out of luck here.
