Just doing some updating on my scanners and realized I haven heard Norman fire on OKWIN in a long while. Have they ditched the system fully for their simulcast system or am I missing something? I hear them on their simulcast but it sounds horrible on my 536 scanner.

Same in Oklahoma. My feed shows off line but working fine. 14 listening right now. Several other feeds showing off line

Well it looks like it is official. Norman police dispatch has gone silent. Hoping others don't follow but i feel they might.

Never mind I hear them. They are on the simulcast site. I will be trying to listen for clues. They are very active

I started listening just after your post. I’m guessing you are talking about the the okwin Norman site. I turned on discovery mode but haven’t heard anything from those talk groups. Are you still hearing them?

I'm guessing this is what is going on in Moore right now? I haven't heard them in a couple days on the p25 or the analog site.

I just heard them on Tecumseh site and Lexington site but I live in Norman and those sites are a good stretch. I assume things are changing rapidly right now.

Just curious if anyone else stopped hearing Moore on the P25 system? Seems to have started today. I still hear them on the analog site.

Doesn't surprise me. Site 40 Norman has been gone for a couple weeks. The new p25 site has gotten a lot more traffic lately.

Has anyone heard anything on the University Of Oklahoma DMR frequency 462.250? I live down the street but haven't heard anything. It shows a strong signal. Wondering if it is something planned for future use.

Yep this happened last week sometime. Norman PD and Fire and OU are using this as well as their dedicated Norman simulcast site. I have noticed much more activity on the new system recently.

Unless they changed it it should be right. I used to live about 2 miles from there and used to listen back in the Joe Exotic days

I live in Norman just around the corner from their new simulcast system that OU and Norman emergency services use. They are still using the old analog system as well as the new one. I haven't heard very much on the new p25 state system though. I did for a while but it has since dropped off...
