Hey n8yid: Have you tried the SDS100 lcn finder? Is it any better than the one in the 436? I've been thinking of getting one and that will be a good reason if the finder works better.

I have already run all the freqs conventionally, and all of them have been active and all displayed DT3, NFM, Color 11, Net 16, Site 9. All of the above lcn searches had the color code set to 11.

You don't need to enter the input channel on any of them. That is to transmit into the repeater, which scanners can't do. Just program the same channel multiple times, each with the different tone and that will differentiate the different uses for that frequency.

Once you get the DMR, MXDN and/or Provoice upgrades, the zip code search will pick them up if it comes across one. Of course, the main question is whether the database is filled with accurate information. If the systems are listed properly, they will work fine.

It might be that the frequencies that are not showing up are now listed as encrypted.

When you get your update from the fastlane, I believe they name it with a .ZAP extension. Just rename it to .ZIP and then windows 10 operating system will extract it if you right-click on it. Then copy and replace the files you get from the ZIP file into your working folder and all should be good.

I'm very familiar with the Harrison County section on RR. I've submitted most of the info for the county. All casinos use either DMR or NXDN with the exception of Boomtown, which is still using LTR, and 2 other Casinos (Palace & Golden Nugget) are still using Analog Conventional frequencies...

I don't think there is a provoice upgrade for the Home Patrol 2. I think only the 436 and 536 can receive provoice with the upgrade.

Make up a unique number for the System ID, like 3333. Then use it for the System and Site files also.
