I am in Brevard County and a firemedic here. I monitor BCFR as well as departments from MA, NY, RI as I am from Mass.

FL Law on scanner The law state police frequency's only. Anything other is game. There is nothing on there that I read that specifies how it is mounted into the car. I only listen to Fire so I keep a copy of the law in my car incase there is an issue. State of Florida Mobile Scanner Law

Upman do you know how long the turnaround time is for repairs on scanners?

I was on hold listening to elevator music for over 2 hours yesterday waiting on Uniden support for help. I have not even been able to register it as of yet CRAZY. I sent them an email to call me hope that helps.

it does 1.03.00 and possible I did install the same update. Now I need to know how to fix that. I did email uniden support and see what they say.

I have tried those suggestions but no luck, on the screen where the ID scan numbers would come up says. NFM no sure what that means and my CD is not much help. Thanks both of you for the help so far.

no there was nothing just showed it scanning then when I held it on my local it still would not receive

no go still not receiving, is there a way to do a factory reset or something to get that firmwear I put on to take it off

It does not pick up the weather channel when programed and the quick keys are set. It was working fine till I did the firmwear update and now nothing. Do you know of a way to removed the firmwear

It is showing the trunk system I programed into it but picks up nothing on trunk or conventional it seems to not to be picking up any signal at all
