They aren't. This effects only Hytera US, not Hytera the main company.

Possibly the headset jack switch failing and always thinking a jack is in? More likely than a speaker failing

Roaming is for going between two matching channels on two repeaters been a while since I set up roaming but I guess this is what you are missing on the roaming side

IP multisite will appear if the CPS thinks you are connecting to a repeater. If you create a new channel it will start with a Tx and RX frequency the same (hence not a repeater). If you change either tx or Rx so that there is a split, it thinks its a repeater and opens up repeater functions.

I thought the best way to link hm785 with the repeaters was via ip link (with add on ip licence for the mobiles) but I have no experience of this so perhaps I am wrong?

I think you will find that the 16 pin is for the likes of the PD7xx and 9xx. The X1P (and PD6xx) have the 13 pin (like you I can't find the pinout diagram but the pin functions from the service manual below!)

I have never seen this combination advertised in Europe. The only way I knew to get this functionality (speaker mic with LCD and control) was with the Bluetooth speaker mic and the bluetooth dongle (which is advertised for the MD7xx). I certainly never thought they were compatible.

Normally on hytera, the best you can do between models is to export channels and contacts via excel and import them to the other code plug. Never even seen the pdc cps so I cant be sure if that will work
