Does anyone know how to get a desktop shortcut to a feed with WMP? I'm stumped.

Using Windows Media Player, how do you save feeds as shortcuts on your desktop? Winamp lets you do this by "Save Playlist".

Winamp works for me this way.

Just wondered why Energizer Lithium batteries provide more voltage initially than charged Eneloop Pro batteries. The Energizers start at over 5, while the Eneloops charged by a wall charger start at under 4. What's the best solution here?

Yes. I do pick up some transmissions, but it does work better with an old antenna.

It is the Erie system. I tried a BNC adapter with an old antenna, and got pretty good results. I see lots of BNC adapters for sale for the 436 - can anyone recommend one that fits well? I can't find a listing for the OEM Uniden one.

Not having good results with the stock antenna for the 436. Using it with a P25 II sytem with freqs. of 453 and 460. Is there a better antenna I can use?

Presque Isle State Park (District 14) in Erie County is on STARNET now. Rangers are encrypted - don't really understand why that's necessary? They have abandoned their previous VHF frequencies, which always worked well for them.
