You can try the windows XP emulator which is available from Microsoft as a download. It I s available in both 32 and 64 bit versions and works very well. It sets up a virtual environment which can use all of your I/O devices as well. Brad

The short answer is no. A personality can only encode quick call or MDC, not both. A personality has more options available for decode, depending on flash code. Sorry I know that isn’t the answer you were hoping for. Brad

You have to have a MDC system enabled on the personality in order to decode the MDC ID.

Have the alignment checked, especially if the radio came from EBay. If it’s parts built it probably wasn’t aligned!

As I recall, only very early XTVA will work with the 3000.

You need to add a mdc system to each channel as well as enabling digital id display. If signaling is set to none, the radio will ignore the mdc. Brad
