The word is: slow. >Lex PD is on line, all TGIDs are encrypted, but in clear TX is heard every so often on the dispatchTGIDs... US Marshals and Transylvania University have MOUs allowing use of PD TGIDs as needed for interop... No idea how many TGIDs are on the system due to self-ordered...

I use my old PSR800 nylon case for my 1080.... There are leather cases for the 700 which is, I believe, the same size. Mine came from Scannermaster (a friend of RR.com)

In this area they usually use local law enforcement freqs.... Makes it easier to interop....

That freq has been in my scanners for a long tone.... Nothing yet.... Any one nearer hear anything?

On 02 Jan 2015 at 0900 I will be officially retired as the Overnight News Shooter at LEX18....Fore the next few weeks my schedule will be more of sleeping and trying to acclimate to "normal" life, i.e.: sleeping when the sun ISN'T in the sky, etc.... During this period of acclamation I will...

Welcome home... thanx for your service. Altho the 796 is a good radio it won't track the current military P25 systems... You' ll need to upgrade to one of the newer scanners...

If you use Win 500 to program your radio, plz download what you have in your scanner and let me take a look.... If you have the Madison TRS loaded in it's own "bank" you might try Attenuation and see if that helps any....
