That's correct, dmr full time for law, the fire channel however is split. Analog and digital. The analog traffic you will hear, the other you won't. It's nexedge and it is encrypted.

Picking up someone being paged on 53780. It was either fire or EMS. Picked up off the lake city tower but ai missed who it was. Will continue to monitor. I didn't find the tg in the DB.

I do. They're Motorola long and plectron tones. I have them programmed in. It's working on that part, when I use silent scan it's like monitor mode. I've got to have a setting off somewhere.

That's how we do it here in Greene County as well, However, we are VHF analog and not AWIN but it still works the same way. We stay on our channel unless giving mutual aid and then we switch to their channels but we don't have a set mutual aid channel.
