I have a TK-5210G K3 Version 3 that will not read or write with the KPG-95DG CPS. The software says to check the radio model and version. My radio is on firmware G6.12 and CPS version 7.01. I have verified the radio model and version on the back of the radio and the CPS did pull the transceiver...

Earlier today I reinstalled a older firmware in my NX-5200 and so far it has been ok. It didn’t do this when I first got it on the older firmware. I believe I put 4.23 in my radio this morning.

Something that I have noticed is that the radio starts randomly freezing after I have added or deleted a zone or channel from scanning within the radio. I've had my radio on all day today and I've recently added three channels to scan and that when the radio froze up two different times.

The radio just froze up twice. Looks like 4.51 does not fix the problem.

I've updated the NX-5200 to firmware 4.51 and so far it has not frozen up. I also have turned the recording back on with the SD card back in the radio. Fingers corssed. Thank you again for everyone that helped!

I was thinking the same. This is a very dangerous issue, especially for law enforcement.

My radio has frozen again so I know now that it didn't fix it. When I return home I will update it to 4.51 as Evans pointed out. Hopefully, this fixes it.

I turned off the audio recording and all passwords in the code plug. That has seemed to fix the issue so far, fingers crossed. Does anyone know the latest firmware for the NX- 5000?

I have a NX-5200 that freezes up and shuts off and on randomly. Has anyone else had this issue? My radio is on firmware K 4.50.00.

I've noticed that the repeaters for GFC at least here in the southern part of the state do not transmitt the MDC-1200 burst at the end anymore. It's a beep. Does anyone know if they are making any other changes or installing new equipment? Thanks.

All the other adjustment items work on panel tuning with that button except the squelch adjustment. I have the service manual and a service monitor but it’s not needed for what I’m trying to accomplish. I just need to be able to change the value of that adjustment because my radio is opening up...
