The out of range problem definitely seems to be related to PPS 4 latest release 36. I have pagers on 1.33 firmware programmed with PPS 4 that experience the issue. Same units previously programmed with 3-16-29E never had the issue.

I changed the 'Out of Range Alert Setting' in E11-5 to Alert Repeatedly every 30 seconds, so at least I'll know it.

I've experienced the same thing with PPS 4, with it dropping out of range for no reason, and not reacquiring the tower unless you change the knob to another tower and back, or cycle the power. It also won't automatically acquire the tower if you're travelling back into range of the tower unless...

Current 1.33 firmware works well for P25 quickcall on the OH Marcs system.

I also went from the beta to the public firmware (although it was a while ago, so I don't remember the current firmware version at the time). I didn't encounter any issues.

My Unication is excellent with simulcast on a single system. Take a look at the MicroP25RX from Bluetail Technologies. It is excellent with simulcast, and can handle multiple systems.

Not sure if this issue was resolved. But, I experienced a similar issue which was user error. The freq.csv file was out of date for my area. I attempted to update, but I mistakenly had spaces in some of the fields which I believe created a similar scenario of the display just staying on one...

I upgraded one of my G-4's with new firmware and PPS. I experienced the same issue with not being able to display the Profile Detail Reports as noted above. Renaming and copying the previous WebDir fixed this for me as well. Thanks for the fix!

I recently saw a similar issue with a patched talkgroup on the OH MARCS system. My Uniden scanner was receiving the communications on the patched talkgroup. However, my G5 was silent. G5 could hear the traffic on the original talkgroup that it was patched from, just not the one it was patched...

In the D5 tab, do you have the agency tones on the same line as the P25T TGID? If not, they may not be associating with that talkgroup ID.

774.28125 in the first screen shot is the state system. 859.2125 in the second screen shot is the Columbus city system. Different users are on different systems, so that explains why you stop hearing certain ones when it changes. Not seeing in your programming why it is changing systems...

It appears this issue is because the WV SIRN -Ohio County Site is no longer broadcasting the band plan, as confirmed by me using Unitrunker, and several other users on the WV forum. Just wondering if anyone has seen this on any other trunked system. This is a UHF system. It doesn't seem to be...
