    Hytera PD562i write password

I do have the proper CPS. But, the Radio has a right password. So it needs to be reset using the proper firmware which I do not have and my dealer does not have either.

    Hytera PD562i write password

No, it is not blocked. I have only attempted to read one time. After three times the radio becomes a break and has to be sent back to the factory.

    Hytera PD562i write password

We purchased dozens of Hytera PD562i used, and a few of them have write passwords. The "reset default data" didn't work, And I am told that this can only be performed three times before it bricks the radio. The local dealer does not have the Firmware to be able to wipe these radios. If anyone...

Unable to Monitor Santa Fe Casino

I am seeing that some of the station casinos FCC licenses that are using 900 MHz frequencies have been filed for cancellation as of last week

    Sam’s Club Digital?

That is interesting. It seems like the radios were larger than that. It doesn't say the modulation type, but does show FHSS, which would make scanning impossible.

    Sam’s Club Digital?

Was at a Sam’s club today and the radios they were using were Motorola and the audio was definitely digital. I always thought they were MURS. Anyone know the modulation type and frequencies?

    Hytera/Motorola IP site connect

Does anyone have any experience, or can point me to any documentation, about to the ability to do IP site connect between Motorola and Hytera repeaters? I’m specifically looking to have a Motorola 110W MTR3000 repeater at one site, and then have small Hytera repeaters with lower power output at...

    MTR3000 with hytera handhelds

The Hytera radios all use basic privacy. Is this an issue?

    MTR3000 with hytera handhelds

We have a collection of Hytera handheld with basic encryption enabled with the option to upgrade to AES encryption. We also have the opportunity to use a MTR 3000 repeater. It is my understanding from reading online that Motorola encryption is completely different from hytera encryption. With...

    Streaming Fremont Street Experience/ Vegas

Thanks for the detailed response here. I think the general consensus is that the Fremont Street experience security are in fact private security officers. Although they are made through a city contract and they do patrol a single city street, I don't think we would be allowed to broadcast their...

What does NSRS Las Vegas Simulcast simulcast?

As an update to this, most scanners do not handle simulcast very well. Only the uniden SDS scanners are specifically meant to handle simulcast. Because all of the towers in the city are transmitting the exact same content on the exact same frequency, the scanner tends to get confused, to put it...

    Streaming Fremont Street Experience/ Vegas

It’s a very interesting case. The city funds a separate LLC to manage the street. That LLC tried to say in court that it was completely separate and non-governmental, but the ninth circuit court of appeals disagreed and said that it was still a public venue. Even though they are calling the...

    Streaming Fremont Street Experience/ Vegas

That’s not what I’m asking. I’m asking what the rules. Allow it to be streamed. I already have other streams going. The rules stated that streaming private entities is not permissible, but this is a public-private, quasi-governmental entity.

    Streaming Fremont Street Experience/ Vegas

Needing clarification regarding the permissibility of streaming the Fremont Street Experience security dispatch channels. The street is owned by the city of Las Vegas and the security is employed by them, but they choose to have security guards instead of police.

    North Las Vegas encrypted?

Thanks for this. It’s interesting that they would broadcast bulletins unencrypted. I didn’t know that Motorola systems had the ability to dynamically turn on and off encryption. I thought that it was on the radio and on the talk group programmed statically.
