Heard on AP news: "Japan issued a state of emergency at a nuclear power plant after its cooling system had a mechanical failure. Trouble was reported at two other nuclear plants as well, but there was no radiation leak at any."

I have NHK out of Bonaire on 17605khz-but in Japanese. I cannot understand Japanese-but this tells me NHK is up on HF which is a good sign the English broadcasts in the 0500utc hour will be up.
