VOA ends English to Asia, more, due to budget cuts

Congress just doesn't get it. SWBC is the only medium that cannot be controlled by a gatekeeper.

More disturbing is the mention in the headline that Radio Free Asia is also possibly affected by budget cuts.

Cutting English language broadcasts -- that I can understand.

But cutting services to Asia in Asian languages -- that is not a good sign.
