Radio Ukraine Back on HF 11580 23-00 UTC

Radio Ukraine is back up on frequency 11580 at 2300-00:00 UTC on the east coast, broadcast through WRMI Okachobee FL.They have up to date news on Russia"Terrorist" activity, and elections to Parlament. They broadcast a section called Ukrainian Perspective, and an English reading lounge, reception is good on internal whip a little spotty on external antenna. Using Grundig Satellit 750 receiver.

I would love to listen to some Ukraine shortwave broadcasts especially considering what is going on over there. Are they still up do you know ?

Don't make too many assumptions here - the situation in the Ukraine is precarious at best, so not hearing them for a few days would not be unusual.

I would be checking the DXLD Yahoo group for updates, if / when things change. And in that area of the world these days, it wouldn't surprise me in the least....Mike
