Question Radio Australia

I heard the A.B.C. Australian Broadcast Corp shut down it's shortwave broadcast service last month despite the demand calling for them to reinstate the service. Any new things about this? I sure miss hearing the signal on 9580 in the mornings.

The SWLIng.com website (and I think the DXLD Yahoo group run by Glenn Hauser) has had news about this shutdown, and how there is a movement to get the funding restored, although the outcome is far from certain. I would check there...Mike
