It appears that the Coast Guard TISCOM network is very active supporting Alaska Air assets.

Coast Guard 1707 and 1704 have been very active with Comm Station Kodiak with operations. I've logged them sounding and communicating on the following frequencies from my location in NW Montana.

9034.0 USB
11196.0 USB
13221.0 USB
20135.5 USB

ALE addresses were:

704 - Coast Guard 1704
707 - Coast Guard 1707
NOJ - Coast Guard Comm Station Kodiak

The TISCOM ALE network is reported to be active on the following frequencies:

4730.0
6709.0
8057.0
8980.0
9034.0
11196.0
13221.0
15082.0
17988.0
20135.5

Lindsay, it's that time of year again. :)

Red King Crab season started on October 15th but only a fraction of the boats went out due to the Federal Shutdown. Federal workers that issue permits were furloughed and thus a lot of boats were stuck in harbor. So the season really started on the 18th this year.
