I hear in many places on HF ,very often around 10.151 Mhz USB a very fast almost RTTY sounding mode,what mode is it and who is transmitting it ? Is it encrypted ?
If I run RTTY software , to try to decode it at the fastest speed it just gives a bunch of letters / symbols.
It seems to end transmission with a constant carrier / tone.

yes, it is encrypted 50/850, or STANAG 4481 @ 75/850, generally U.S Navy.

The USN has had a frequency for many years inside our 30m band (I think we're secondary users in that band). So now they have one right on the edge of the allocation...wonderful...

i've noticed at times (from my qth) that it is quite noisy/messy/dirty. unsure if it atmospherics or what.
