Homemade HDSDR control box

Afternoon all. I will be working on an open source project to control HDSDR via a homemade control box. The platform will be the Arduino Leonardo using the Mouse & Keyboard library found here via USB.

Keys i will be mapping to physical buttons will be the following. I will also be adding a LCD to show current button pressed.

Switch Mode to AM Ctrl+A
Switch Mode to CW Ctrl+C
Switch Mode to LSB Ctrl+L
Switch Mode to USB Ctrl+U
NB – Noise Blanker B
NR – Noise Reduction R
Notch Filter (Beat Cancel) N
AGC (fast/mid/slow/off) G
Mute on/off M
Show GUI of ExtIO-DLL H

Hi,

Yes I would like to work with you on this project, I do think one of the features I would like to see is a way to change the frequency using a rotary encoder like a normal radio receiver.

I was also thinking about adding that feature last night using the ctrl arrow up and ctrl arrow down but i don't know if i can do it via PWM input or just doing it via 2 more buttons buttons bound to those two key commands.

Just a heads up. I'm waiting on parts from Hong Kong. After i get all the parts i will start posting what i have.

Some of the parts came in. Here is what i have so far. This is a mock up controller that will interface with the Leonardo.
