I am new to SDR and would like to know if DSD+ will decode EDACS with provoice? Also, what SDR would work best for this. I found this but dont see any software that would do it.

That is designed specifically for the HackRF, which will be available soon, hopefully.

From what I recall, DSD+ will not do ProVoice. Either way, DSD+ is not designed to follow the trunking algorithm. You would have to use Unitrunker to follow the conversation first and decode from there.

wrong!! DSD was the 1st Program to be able to decode Provoice look in digital decoding forums here to learn more

DSDPlus will decode ProVoice with the following option -



-fp Decode only ProVoice

i have just got mine running and decoding edacs provoice very well. took some fine tuning but after little bit was able to get it. i bought two of these NooElec - NooElec NESDR Mini SDR & DVB-T USB Stick (R820T) w/ Antenna and Remote Control - SDR Receivers - Software Defined Radio and with the latest unitrunker it runs awsome.
