I have a 1.8ghz core 2 duo laptop running windows 10 preview and SDR Sharp. I am getting some pretty choppy audio on FM radio. I have done about everything I can think of to get it straight.. No luck. Any help would be appreciated.

you could try and grab the new dsdplus it has a program in it now that works alot better on older less powerful laptops called FMP.exe and you could pipe that to the speakers and see if that would work any better

I managed to fix it by lowering the latency in the audio settings to 25ms. I guess the default setting was more than the laptop could handle. It runs at about 65% cpu listening to FM. My 8 core AMD 4.2 ghz system shows about 1% cpu. :)

I had roughly the same problem on my PC (choppy audio etc) I found out that as it was an oldish computer, the old USB.1 sockets were the problem. Now running Windows 7 on a much more recent PC with USB.2 sockets and all's well.
