i can receive fm radio but cannot

receive anything else. reinstalled driver for the nooelec with zadig. still nothing. just started happening today. was working fine yesterday. thanks

Have you tried turning up the RF gain?

What type of antenna are you using? Indoor or out?

Please give us a little more info so we can help.

did you adjust the bandwith? can you see anything outside the broadcast band? did you change mode to FM from WFM?

set bandwith at 5,000 or 10,000. nothing with either. ..no. ...no

Can you see a spectral display of the individual FM broadcast band stations?

If you can take a snapshot of the computer screen it might help.

Try another SDR stick. The cold dry air of winter creates a static electricity issue. One touch of that antenna with a charged up finger can blow the receiver's pre-amp and after which only very strong signals will be heard.

a fm radio station is shown as a signal strength of halfway up the spectrum display, less powerful towers had more before ...thanks m105. guess thats what i will have to do. not sure i ever want to spend $20 on one when alot of the interesting users are using push to talk smartphones or apps, or ill need a yagi to pick up another frequency i am only kinda interested in and it doesnt work with pdw program.
