RPi-3 possible using wifi as receiver?

For RPi-3 we have GQRX and CUBICsdr using the RTL they go up to 1700MHz max. And just thinking loud,
RPi-3 having a build in WiFi receiver that be possible GQRX or CUBICsdr use these receiver for extended frequency range to cover from 2000 - 2500 MHz or 5000 - 6000 MHz
When this be possible.
