SDR touch for desktop??

Hello, A complete newbie here ... Does SDR touch work on a desktop pc? I was trying to download, absolutely nothing happens. I have no clue here ... on top of that, the pc is at least 12 years old. I don't even have the dongle yet, I just wanted to try and put the software on my pc.

Also, I have a kindle table and android phone, plan on putting it there too.

I believe its for Android only. If your phone has enough processing power it should be fine, even better if you can power the dongle from from a separate source other than the phone.
